at the Summit Camp Room!

Adventure Camp is a place for dogs to come and learn while their humans are at work, school, or just taking a much-needed break!  This service is carefully and thoughtfully curated to foster the maximum learning benefit for the dogs in our care.  We host a limited number of students on each day of Camp so that your dog can receive so much individual attention from the Camp team!

Why Choose Adventure Camp for Dogs?

At Adventure Camp, we understand that your four-legged family member deserves more than just a daycare – they deserve an enriching experience that stimulates their mind, challenges their abilities, and ensures they return home not just tired but with new skills and manners!

  • Exclusive Camp Setting: Forget crowded spaces! We cap our daily attendance at just 6-8 dogs, ensuring your pup receives personalized attention and a low-stress environment focused on what your individual pup needs to thrive.

  • Excellent Staff-to-Dog Ratio: With a minimum of two dedicated dog trainers per group, your dog gets the individualized care and supervision they need to make the most out of their day. Our experienced staff is passionate about building a strong bond with your dog, and applying their behavior and training knowledge to support your dog to have the best experience.

  • Training for Life Skills: Adventure Camp isn't just a play space; it's a learning environment. We incorporate daily training sessions to stimulate your dog's brain, teach them new skills, and reinforce the good behaviors that you want them to show off at home. The curriculum at Camp follows our group class Levels 1-3 and focuses on Colorado Life Skills like coming when called, focus around distractions, polite greetings, loose leash walking, and so much more!  If you have special requests or challenges you are working on at home, we’ll incorporate that into our practice with your dog too!

  • Small & Curated Group Play: Socialization is key, but we believe in quality over quantity. Our carefully curated small group play sessions ensure your dog interacts with like-minded pals, fostering positive relationships and avoiding overwhelming situations.

  • Adventure Updates: Receive daily updates on your dog's progress, including photos and insights into their training achievements. Rest easy knowing your dog is in good hands at Adventure Camp.

Is Your Dog A Good Fit for Adventure Camp for Dogs?

Let’s find out! Have they . . .

  • Taken another service at Summit (group class, private lesson, Adventure Camp for Puppies)?**

  • Are they over 5 months of age? (If not, start in Adventure Camp for Puppies!)

  • Do they enjoy playing with other dogs and people?

  • Are they comfortable in a crate or a small pen enclosure?

If you answered “Yes” to all of those questions, the next step is to sign up for an Adventure Camp Audition!

An Adventure Camp Audition evaluates whether your dog will enjoy their time and thrive in the Adventure Camp setting. Dogs are evaluated on a number of factors, including comfort around new people and social settings with other dogs, and ability to rest in their crate or pen during break time. Dogs who pass their Audition are invited to enroll in an Adventure Camp membership or join our roster of dogs approved for drop-in Camp spots when available.

**For Prospective new students interested in Adventure Camp

If you haven’t taken any service with us before and you’d like to start in Adventure Camp, please schedule an Adventure Camp Discovery Call with our Camp team to discuss whether Camp will be a good fit for you and your dog before scheduling an Audition spot!
